Carolina Romero Toledo
External Communications Consultant
Carolina is Journalist with a License Degree in Social Communications from the Diego Portales University. Additionally, is received a Diploma in Corporate Communications from the Catholic University of Chile.
In the year 2000 she did her journalist internship at La Segunda newspaper’s political section, followed by a collaboration practice at Telefónica CTC Chile’s Communications Department.
In 2001 she joined the Public Relations Department of the State Railroad Company (EFE) where she gained experience and greater knowledge regarding internal communications media, event organization and news media management, among others. In 2003 she was appointed Communications Chief at EFE, where she assumed responsibility for the company’s internal & external communications.
In 2006 she joined Hill & Knowlton Captiva as its External Communications Consultant, from where she has actively participated in communications management, crisis management, strategic advisories to management teams on topics of corporate communications and key corporate messages; in addition to coaching executives and spokespersons of various companies and preparing monthly analyses of press publications.
She has also collaborated in the development of communicational programs & tools that permit companies achieve their financial objectives and materialize their business plans.
